In today's world there are many places
where our hearing is exposed to noise:
working in a factory, automotive or similar
service shop, using power saws and other
power tools, or even riding a motorcycle.
Your ear is always exposed to potentially
harmful noise levels. This can cause hearing
loss. OTO HEARING PRODUCTS designs and
manufactures ear defenders that eliminate
possible hearing loss problems or other
damages to your ear. They are available
as a solid or as a vented earplug, providing
different levels of hearing protection.

Special Applications of OTO-Ear Defenders:
- FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND INDUSTRIAL WORKERS we manufacture
the best ear defender which is available
in three different styles: Class A offers
maximum protection, Class B should be
used when sudden noise (such as hammering
and sawing), and Class C is used when
constant noise (such as bottling line).
They can be made primarily from Skinflex,
but also from soft silicone.
- FOR MEDICAL
PROFESSION ( such as Nurses,
Doctors, Audiologists, etc.) we manufacture
a special earmold which uses a standard
receiver and a male stethoscope adapter
that connects to a listening device.
Electronic and conventional stethoscope
adapter earmolds are available in Lucite
and Skinflex material are used for the
manufacture of this earmold style.
- FOR COMMUNICATION
PERSONNEL (such as Broadcasters,
Law Enforcement and Security Personnel)
we have designed the almost invisible
skeleton style using Lucite or Skinflex,
featuring a coiled or straight tubing
with female adapter and collar clip.
For Telemarketers, Telephone Operators
or Receptionists we also designed the
ATC ear mold which can be attached to
a microphone headset.
- FOR AIRCRAFT
WORKERS we manufacture a special
ATC earmold that can be attached to
a microphone headset.
- FOR THE MUSIC
INDUSTRY we have developed -
together with Etomotic Research - Musicians
ear plugs which are designed to match
the ear's natural response. the result
is that music and speech can still be
heard clearly, but quieter.
- FOR SHOOTING
ACTIVITIES (such as Hunters,
Skeet and Trap Shooters, Target Shooters)
we designed an ear defender which is
built with a Class B acoustic filter.
It allows the user to communicate with
others, yet still receive protection
against the high impact sound a gun
can produce.
- FOR MOTOR
SPORTS (such as Race Car Drivers,
Motor Boats, Snowmobilers, etc.) the
use of a low profile Class B ear defender
is recommended. This style can be built
with a special mold which permits the
communication between race driver and
his pit crew.
- FOR RELAXING
MOMENTS (such as sleeping, reading,
studying, etc.) we offer low profile
or half shell style sleeper molds that
are made from soft silicone.
